Who will be eligible for a .film domain?
Any film studio, company or vendor who is a member of an affiliated industry body may register pre-qualified film domains.

What films are eligible for a .film domain?
Any theatrical motion picture associated with an affiliated industry body member will be eligible for a .film domain.

Who will administer domain applications?
The dotFilm Title Registration Bureau will oversee the application and delegation process for .film domains. The dotFilm Title Registration Bureau will consist of a President as appointed by the President of the MPAA, and member constituents from each affiliated industry body.
The dotFilm Title Registration Bureau will manage the application, approval and dispute resolution processes as an independent body with strong affiliations with the MPAA, other associated industry bodies and the dotFilm registry.

How will domains be technically implemented?
dotFilm and registry partner AusRegistry International have partnered to provide registry support for the cinema industry. The dotfilm registry will be secure, stable and ensure the best possible experience for film owners and users alike.
